Do you ever think about how you spend your time and what you really do with it every day?
You may not do all of the same things every single day, but there are certain things that you do every single day.
You don't have to plan every single thing that you do though, and you don't have to have routines for everything that you do either. You can if you want, but it is not a necessity for you to be your best, live your best, and do your best.
You have to spend time with yourself. You have to get to know yourself. You have to really see what works for you, and once you know what works for you, then things really start to happen that end up better for you.
It took me a long time to realize that I don't need to have routines. It took me a long time to realize that I don't need to plan every single thing out.
If you know that you're not Type A, if you know that you like spontaneity, then you will benefit so much more by living more with the flow of life.
If you force things and try to control everything, you will get nowhere. You will put so much stress on your mind, soul, and nervous system. All of that will continue to hold you back.
Instead, you can utilize and use your energy and your time with intention. Put your focus on things that you do have control over in your own life.
Flowing instead of forcing.
This helps me to feel free. It gives me so much more space to really be me, and put my creativity out into the world.
You have to figure out who you are. When you do know yourself, you know which suits you better. There are questions you can ask yourself to get you closer.
You can ask yourself what is fun for you, what feels right to you, and what energizes you.
These three things tell you. Go with what feels right to you. Go with what energizes you. Go with what is fun to you.
Make it easy for yourself. That way, you will continue to be consistent and show up for yourself.
One of the reasons I was not posting here consistently is because I hate non-fiction writing. I do not like to write non-fiction. I only like to write fiction.
There are vegan lifestyle, mindset, and self-care things for women I want to keep sharing. I want to keep connecting with and communicating with the community I’m building.
So, I decided to find a way to make it easy for myself that felt right to me. I didn't want it to feel like a chore. I found dictation. That is how I do my posts on here now that are not fiction.
There is no wrong way. There is no right way, but there are a lot of ways. You can do things your way.
It is fun to be on the path to figuring out what that is for you, but it's even more fun when things finally click. You finally figure out what it is that does work for you.
If you have morning and night routines and rituals you do every day that work for you and you love it all, then keep doing them. If you feel obligated to do routines, to do things a certain way in a certain order or else, re-evaluate.
I used to think that I had to have routines. I used to think that I had to plan everything out. I realized that it was draining me instead of energizing me. It was holding me back instead of moving me forward. I re-evaluated.
There are some things that I plan. There are some things I do every day, but I do not have routines, and I do not have plans for every single thing. I like to feel and go with that, but it's okay if you are different.
That's why it is important to sit with yourself, and not to constantly do things all of the time. Listen to yourself and get to know what it is for you that works the best for you.
Only you can decide what really truly does work for you. It's a knowing feeling that you will experience when you're utilizing your energy, your focus, and your time with intention, care, and purpose.
