How fast can you figure something out that is important to you? If you want something to happen that means something to you, you can and will make it happen. Whether or not you make it happen fast is up to you. You get to decide that.
Eating is a major part of our lives. So, why not make it the best for yourself? You can figure out your vegan eating fast if you want to because there is someone who can help guide you.
Hey. It’s me. I can help you with that. When I went vegan in 2010, I didn’t have anyone to guide me, but I was ecstatic. So, it didn’t matter. I helped myself. I guided myself. I figured it out myself. I was going to either way. It took me years to figure out the vegan eating that worked best for me though.
If I would have had someone guide me who had been where I was at the time, I could have figured out my eating in a few weeks, a month, or months.
Imagine.
It doesn’t have to take years for you to figure it out unless you want it to take that long. The only way to figure out and know what works for you is to experiment and explore different things and ways, but you can still figure it out for yourself quicker if you have someone showing you the way.
So, what finally clicked and brought it all together for me? I made it easy for myself. I decided that it didn’t have to be, need to be, or shouldn’t be hard, confusing, frustrating, time consuming or overwhelming. That changed everything for me, which made other areas of my life better, too.
Make it easy for yourself.
How do you make your vegan eating easy for yourself? You start by breaking it down. Take steps.
Get super clear first of all. What do you intend for yourself when you’re eating? It may be getting nourishment that you need. It may also be just to taste something you love. It can be both.
If you don’t know what you want, you won’t know where to go. If you know where you want to go, but you don’t know where you are, you won’t know where you’re going. You’ll end up eating mindlessly, with no intention, and with no purpose.
Eat with mindfulness, intention, and purpose.
Ask yourself these three questions:
What do I want to accomplish with my eating?
What do I want my eating to feel like?
What can I do every day to feel how I want to feel about my eating choices?
Every time you eat is a step forward or backward. You have complete power and control over that.
Aside from that, determine for yourself if you have any eating goals. This refers to any goals that your eating can help you accomplish.
There’s many of these: fat/weight loss, muscle/weight gain, hitting certain macros, maintenance, recomposition, improving or healing your relationship with food, having more fun with your eating, having more balance with your eating, having more organization with your eating, trying new things in new and different ways, etc.
After knowing that, plan around how you want your eating to be and feel like and if you have any eating goals. The key is to not forget that there will be obstacles and resistance at times + know yourself.
No matter how well you have something planned out, life can change that. So, you need to know yourself and how you would respond to and handle a situation. Always know that obstacles and resistance are going to happen sometimes.
How are you going to get through obstacles and resistance? If you’re fighting resistance and not wanting to do something, think about how it would feel to have done it. Is it worth doing? If it is, do it. Give yourself space and room for resistance and obstacles by planning with the possibility of those in mind.
Planning helps you to set yourself up for success, and don’t worry. You don’t have to be strict and rigid with it. You can be flexible and flow with it. Whatever is better for you. Make it a part of your life.
Once I realized that I can do things my way, I always showed up for myself from then on. I customized it for me.
It has been years in the making. I finally figured out the best vegan eating method that can be customized for you.
Food freedom. Food empowerment. Food confidence. Fun. Excitement. Balance. Variety. Abundance. Satisfaction. Content. Time saved. These are what I experience with eating this way.
No guilt. No shame. No missing out. No lack. No restricting. No under eating. No over eating. No overwhelm. No confusion. No frustration. No time wasted. I dropped all of this when I shifted my vegan eating.
You can, too, if that’s what you want.
Something is coming, and it’s going to change + make your vegan eating the best for you your way if you want that for yourself.
